How It Happened
The Hawk offense was in high gear in the first quarter, as the team tallied five goals in the period while holding UMass-Dartmouth scoreless in the period. Gabe Reale and Jude Marzec combined for four of the five goals in the period as RWU held a commanding lead going into the second.
UMass-Dartmouth was able to pull within four with goals by Donovan Prozinski and Tim Jordan, but the Hawks were able to get both scores back within a minute of each other to take an 8-2 lead into halftime.
The Corsairs were able to tally three more goals in the third quarter to make it a 5-10 deficit going into the fourth quarter. However, Roger Williams once again held UMass-Dartmouth to a scoreless period, as UMD was unable to notch a goal in the fourth.
