The host Red Dragons improved to 6-3 with the win, while the visiting Red Dragons dropped their first game of the season, falling to 4-1. Junior Dante Yacavone (Homer) scored a game-high six points on four goals and two assists to lead the Cortland offense. Freshman Colton Smith (Naples/Penn Yan Academy) finished with five points on a season-best four goals and one assist, and junior Troy Morris (Long Beach) also netted four goals.
