Today the 2019 Williams College Ephs made history as the first men's lacrosse team at Williams to break thirteen wins in a season its ninety-one years of playing Varsity lacrosse. The Ephs took control of the game at 10:30 of the first quarter when junior Brendan Hoffman sniped top right after an assist from Cory Lund. Four minutes later, Brendan Hoffman netted a second-straight goal in similar fashion from a feed by John Hincks. Colby cut the Williams lead in half at 5:40 when they scored their first goal of the game by Jack Rickards after dodging from the restraining line. With fifty seconds left in the quarter, Kevin Stump passed the ball to Cory Lund and Lund slam-dunked the ball in the net to give the Ephs a widened lead. William was up 3 – 1 over Colby at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Williams tacked a goal onto their lead at 14:07 after Jared Strauss finessed one into the top left corner of the net. Two minutes later, Kevin Stump netted a second-straight goal once again after an assist from Cory Lund to increase the Eph lead.
