WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Saint Joseph's used a big second half to defeat the Monmouth University men's lacrosse team on Saturday afternoon at Kessler Stadium.
Through the first 30 minutes, Saint Joseph's held a 3-2 lead, but scored seven of the final eight goals to put the game away. Saint Joseph's excelled at the faceoff X, with Zach Cole winning 14-of-16 in the game.
Offensively, Zach Clemente, Mike McIntyre and Brock Anderson scored for Monmouth. The loss drops the Hawks to 2-3 on the season.
