HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team finally played at home after four straight road games to open the 2019 season. Saturday's season debut at Scully-Fahey Field also served as the conference opener as the Big Green (2-3, 1-0) bested visiting Brown (2-2, 0-1) by a score of 15-11. The Bears had come into the game as one of the top-scoring teams in the nation this season, but were held to a season-low 11 goals in the game. A season after a loss in Providence cost Dartmouth a shot at a share of the Ivy League title, the Big Green bounced back to defeat Brown in the first Ancient Eight game 2019.\ Coming into the day with just 32 career points, senior Kellen D'Alleva had a monster afternoon with six assists and eight points, both career highs. Dartmouth is back home Wednesday (March 6) against UConn. Game time from Scully-Fahey Field is set for 3 p.m.
