Huyghue then finished off a feed from Papa to stake Limestone to a 5-0 cushion with 9:10 left. A few moments later, Huyghue tallied his second goal of the opening period before Sundown completed his first-quarter hat trick off a nice assist from Bennett. Papa closed the scoring in the frame, firing from long distance off a feed from Bennet, as Limestone pushed in front, 8-0, at the end of the first. Second Quarter Sundown planted his fourth goal of the evening just 17 ticks into the second before burying his fifth score a few moments later to make it a 10-0 game with 11:11 remaining in the half. Kellner and freshman Nelson Logan (Basom, N.Y.) would then both register their first career goals to extend the margin to 12-0. Limestone continued to pad its lead as senior Coltin Moseman (Malta, N.Y.) posted his second goal of the year before Bennett beat the keeper on a scoop-and-score. Third Quarter Senior Patrick Hanley (Syracuse, N.Y.) kept the run going for the Saints, making it a 17-0 affair with his second goal of the season early in the third.
