The Merrimack College men's lacrosse team fought hard in the second half, but could not complete its comeback in an 8-6 loss to UMass Lowell Saturday afternoon at Duane Stadium. Merrimack scored two early goals in the third quarter to tie the game at five, but the River Hawks finished the game on a 3-1 run to claim the victory between the geographic rivals.
