In the battle for the "Little Three Title" the Wesleyan men's lacrosse team hosted the Amherst College Mammoths on Citirin Field in Middletown, CT. With both colleges ranked in the top ten of DIII, this matchup also had huge NESCAC implications, as both teams entered the tilt with undefeated conference records. Trailing by two in the fourth quarter, Wesleyan rallied down the stretch as Carter Hawthorne scored the game-winner with 2:24 remaining on the clock to lift the Cardinals to a 12-11 victory.
