In their first game as the newest National Lacrosse League franchise, the New England Black Wolves hosted the Buffalo Bandits. If front of a packed house at the Mohegan Sun Arena, the Black Wolves defeated the Bandits, 12-8, paced by three goals from Pat Saunders and 50 saves from goalie Evan Kirk.
