In the 2021 New Hampshire D1 High School Championship, the states top two programs hit the field when Exeter took on Bishop Guertin. After falling behind early in the first half, BG rallied to tie the game heading into the fourth where the Cardinals would put the game away for a 9-7 win, earning their ninth championship in 13 seasons and their first since 2017.
