Help Support Laxin 4 Tony

Jun 21, 2016
In 2001, Tony Ciccone was paralyzed during a lacrosse game at Fox Lane High School, NY. Tony fractured the fourth and fifth vertebrae of his spinal column. The hit he took did not appear to be devastating, at first, but the injury resulted in the young athlete’s paralysis. After the accident, the only muscles that Tony could move, were in his face.   Since the accident, members of the Bedford, NY community and a growing number of regional towns and teams have rallied for Tony’s support. This past weekend, over 120 teams from Long Island and beyond came together to support Tony. The money raised will help Tony live a more normal life, as well as provide additional medical and rehab equipment that he desperately needs.   Tony remains confined to his wheelchair, but the smile has returned to his face with the outpouring of support from his fellow lacrosse players, parents, teams and towns. We ask that you help Tony with even the smallest of donations, every little bit adds up to a significant change in his daily life!   See how your participation has already helped Tony.   In his own words : “Thank you again to each and every one of you—your steadfast backing has greatly improved my health, well-being and the quality of my daily life. I am so fortunate to have you in my life.”   With love, Tony Ciccone   l4t-3l4t-1l4t-4 l4t-2
