Looking to maintain its fast start to the 2018 season, the eighth ranked North Carolina Tar Heels Men's lacrosse team traveled to Hempstead, NY for a match up with the unranked Hofstra Pride. Looking for the upset, the Hofstra Pride were also looking too capture the 100th victory of Coach Seth Tierney's career. From the games opening whistle, Hofstra took complete control, using a balanced scoring attack and stellar goaltending from Jack Concannon, en route to a 12-6 win over the Tar Heels.
