In a battle pitting one of the top teams from Long Island, Middle Country, against one of upstate New York's best, Pittsford, the showdown for the New York State Class A Lacrosse title was held at SUNY Cortland Lacrosse title. For both programs, a win would be their first in their schools history. In a down to the worse showdown, Pittsford came out on top by defeating Middle Country by a score of 10-9.
