Despite frigid and windy conditions, the Saint John's Red Storm lacrosse team hosted its former Big East Rival Rutgers at DaSilva Field in Queens, New York. In a high scoring, back and forth affair, the 12th ranked Scarlet Knights found themselves on the wrong end of a 15-12 score late in the fourth quarter. It was then when Kieran Mullins took over for Rutgers, leading the Knights on a 7-0 run to finish the game, leading Rutgers to an eventual 19-15 win.
