In an interstate matchup between two of the most high profiled lacrosse schools from their respective states, the Torrey Pines boy's lacrosse team from California traveled to Connecticut for a matchup against Darien. With Torrey Pines a nationally ranked school and the Blue Wave riding a 56 game win streak, this unique matchup was also the first time that a boys lacrosse game was payed under the lights at Darien high school. Using its dominant offense and stifling defense, Darien proved too much for their West Coast foes, defeating the Falcons by  a score of 14-4.
