In what is the fiercest rivalry in collegiate sports, the US Naval Academy men's lacrosse team traveled to West Point, NY for a showdown against the Army West Point Black Knights. In the latest chapter of this storied rivalry, this ate season matchup was a pivotal one, as both teams looked for a victory to improve their chances of post season play. In a back and forth affair that came down tot he games final seconds, the Midshipmen defeated the Black Knights by a score of 9-8 in front of a crowd of 15,033, the second-largest crowd to watch an Army-Navy men's lacrosse game.
