In what has become a tradition since 1969, the Wilton, CT boys lacrosse team squared off against the Yorktown Cornhuskers for the rights to the Turnbull Bowl. After defeating Yorktown last year on the Huskers home turf, the Warriors of Wilton looked for a second straight win over their long time foe. After a close game that saw only three goals scored in the first half, the Huskers offense exploded in the third quarter, using an eight goal run en route to a convincing 11-6 win over Wilton.
