The STX Stallion SC-TI OCS is 5% lighter weight and same collegiate level strength as previous models of the shaft. The Stallion SC-TI OCS is based on the same high end shaft technology that the top colleges in the nation go to for superior feel and light weight performance. There is an ever so slight sand grit on this shaft which keeps the tape weights down and allows elite level player to get a handle in most any weather condition. The OCS (Optimized Cross Section) design adds additional material at the corners of the handle profile, which significantly reduces denting, without adding weight. This lacrosse shaft has the highest strength-to-weight ratio in the STX line. The Shaft Lock technology provides a more secure connection between head and handle, reducing head rattle.
