The battle for the Texas 2A state championship came to Houston and featured to of the states best battling it out once again. In the third meeting between the two rivals this season, Jesuit Dallas topped Highland Park 10-8 to win their first state championship since 2017. After being all knitted at 5 at the half and then tied at 6 with 2:48 remaining in the third quarter, the Rangers outscored the Scots 4-2 in the final 15 minutes of the contest to secure the win.
