RECORDS Quinnipiac (4-2, 4-1 MAAC) vs. Canisius (3-4, 2-3 MAAC) QUOTING HEAD COACH Mason Poli "The offense was clicking all day for us, especially at the start of that second half – we were able to gain some separation there. It wasn't the cleanest finish, but to hold on in MAAC play against a good Canisius team always feels nice. Three in a row, all at home, it's a great feeling." NOTES Will Abbott led the way with a season-high six points (two goals, four assists) for the Bobcats. Abbott has recorded a point in three of five games, tallying three scores and seven helpers over the last two wins. Dylan Donnery scored a career-high five goals. The first-year student has 12 goals over his first six collegiate games – scoring eight times in the last two victories. Jake Tellers added four goals and one assist. His four goals are a season-best mark. Demitri George won 22-of-31 faceoff attempts, and picked up 12 ground balls. George currently ranks No. 3 in the nation in faceoff percentage (75.0 %). Nick DiMuccio made 15 saves in the win. He's up to 78 total stops this year. Evan Perry chipped in with one goal and two helpers. John DeLucia, Connor Jacoby, Ryan Donnery and Colin Casey each added a goal for the Bobcats. Shots on goal were even 27-27. The Bobcats picked up 29 ground balls, and cleared 14-of-18 attempts. UP NEXT The Bobcats return to play on Tuesday, April 20, traveling to Marist for a 7:00 PM matchup.
