The ACC women's lacrosse championship was held at Virginia Tech University and featured the Syracuse Orange taking on the North Carolina Tar Heels. In a  game that needed overtime to declare a champion, Aly Messinger scored the game winner to give the Tar Heels their second ACC Championship in school history.
