2017 Florida High School State Championship

May 18, 2017
The battle for the 2017 Florida High School Lacrosse State Championship came to Jupiter High School where the top seeded St. Thomas Aquinas boys lacrosse team looked for its second consecutive state title when it squared off against rival Florida power house, Lake Highland Prep. The teams most recently met in the state title game back in 2015, where the Highlanders defeated the Raiders, 13-11. With that loss in the minds of the Raiders, the nationally ranked St Thomas Aquinas squad took command early in the 2017 showdown and never looked back, cruising to a commanding 12-7 win over the Highlanders. Lax.com was on scene to capture all the action from this huge rivalry.
