In a rematch of the 2016 Connecticut Class M High School lacrosse Championship, the Daniel Hand boys lacrosse team took on the New Canaan Rams at Brien McMahon HS in Norwalk, CT. For New Canaan, the Rams were looking to capture its third consecutive Class M title while Daniel Hand was looking to avoid another end of the season loss to its growing rival. In a a back and forth game that saw the score knotted at six with just over eight minutes to play in the fourth, the Rams and their star studded senior class pulled away by scoring the games final three goals to give New Canaan at 9-6 win.
