In a non-conference showdown, the Jacksonville Dolphins men's lacrosse team hosted the Marquette University Golden Eagles. After falling behind early to the 19th ranked Golden Eagles, the Dolphins rallied to pull within two goals late in the fourth quarter. However, time would run out on Jacksonville as Marquette would hold on for a 14-12 win.
