In a non-conference meeting, the 15th ranked Rutgers men's lacrosse team traveled to Providence, RI for a showdown with the Bears of Brown University. It was the second meeting in the last two years for the two teams, after a 51 year gap between matchups. Played at a very windy Stevenson-Pincince Field, the Brown Bears jumped out to an early lead in the games being quarter but the Knights would battle back, taking and holding the lead for the majority of the game, en route to a 10-8 win.
