In what has become one of the biggest rivalries in not just the NESCAC, but all of Division III lacrosse, the sixth ranked Wesleyan Cardinals hosted the 4th ranked Tufts Jumbos on Jackson Field in Middletown, CT. With the score tied late in the fourth quarter,  Wesleyan senior Christian Barker scored the game-winning goal with 2:17 remaining, handing the Jumbos their first loss of the season by a score of 10-9.
