In the biggest matchup of the 2022 women's college lacrosse season, the second ranked UNC Tar Heels traveled to Massachusetts for a ACC showdown against the top ranked Boston College Eagles. After North Carolina went on a 6-0 run in the second and third quarters, the Tar Heels were able to weather a late rally by BC, holding on for a 16-15 upset win.
