The Game Story:
ANOVER, N.H.-David Farber scored his third goal of the game with 2:31 remaining in overtime to lift the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team to an 8-7 win over Hartford Saturday at Scully-Fahey Field.

The win improves the Big Green to 5-1, while Hartford falls to 3-4. The Big Green will open Ivy League action next Saturday at home versus Pennsylvania at 1:00 pm.

Farber scored the last three goals of the game, all unassisted, for the Big Green, who battled back from a 4-1 deficit after the first period. This marked the second straight overtime win for Dartmouth, which defeated Sacred Heart last Saturday with 2:32 remaining in the extra period.

Leading, 4-1, at the half, the Hawks built its lead to 6-2 before Dartmouth began its comeback by scoring the last three goals of the third period. Casey Burlage, Tom Daniels and Connor Price each scored goals as the Big Green trimmed Hartford's lead to 6-5.

Hartford scored early in the fourth before Farber became a one-man wrecking crew, He scored with 5:19 left in the fourth and tied the contest with 4:37 remaining.

In the nets, Mike Gault stopped seven shots, while Hartford's Rorke Green tallied 18 saves.
