The Game Story:
LEXINGTON, Va. -- For the second time in their last three conference games, the Keydets dropped a heartbreaking one-goal decision. Today, VMI's game-tying shot attempt by junior Kevin Hill was stopped with 10 seconds remaining by Mount goalie Joe Zolezzi as the Mountaineers prevailed with a 11-10 victory at Foster Stadium. The game featured five lead changes, but Shaun Moran's goal for the Mount with 5:27 remaining proved to be the game-winner.

Playing in his final home game, senior Steve Long had a stellar first half with three goals and an assist for the Keydets, finishing as the game's leading scorer with four points. Junior Kevin Hill chipped in a goal and two assists. For Mount St. Mary's, senior's Ben Mundorf and Eric Seifert each tallied three scores to lead the Mountaineers.

With the victory, Mount St. Mary's improves to 3-9 overall and 3-4 in the MAAC, while the Keydets drop to 2-11 overall and 1-6 in conference play.
