The Game Story:
BLAUVELT, N.Y. Ė The American International College menís lacrosse team lost 17-7 at Dominican Wednesday night. With the loss the Yellow Jackets fall to 0-3 this season, while the Chargers improve to 1-4. Sophomore goaltender Mark Taylor (North Andover, Mass.) stopped 20 shots in the loss for AIC.

Sophomore Travis Ortensi (South Hadley, Mass.) netted three goals, while classmate Aaron McNab (West Springfield, Mass.) tallied a goal and two assists. Freshman Nicholas Brett (Louden, N.H.) found the back of the net twice, while senior Mike Szawlowski (Leeds, Mass.) scored one goal for the Yellow Jackets.

Senior Jeremy Arcaro (New Windsor, N.Y.) scored four goals and dished out two assists for six points, while sophomore Jesse Peterson (Saskatoon, Sask.) tallied two goals and four assists. Freshman Korin Pierce (Middleburg, Va.) netted three goals and handed out two assists in the win for Dominican.

Sophomore netminder Brendan Bonacum (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) made 14 saves to collect the victory, before being replaced by classmate Tim Manzella (Riverhead, N.Y.) who stopped one shot of his own.

AIC was outshot 55-40 in the game.
