The Golden Lions opened with a six goal streak kicked off by John McClure (Brampton, Ontario) off of Campbell’s first feed of the day in the first minute. Dominican was able to sneak in two past goalkeeper Nick Tracey (Farmingville, NY) within the last minutes of the quarter as Remo Montalbano (Saugerties, NY) and Owen Smith III (Cornwall, NY) capitalized.
The second quarter scoring was kept minimal as Dowling’s Keith Lorenzo (Ronkonkoma, NY) capitalized on a Campbell dish with 7:59 on the clock.
