GRANVILLE- Denison men's lacrosse jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the second quarter and held off a Greensboro College run with four unanswered goals in the third quarter, en route to a sound 14-6 victory at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium.

Rick Mackessy (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) opened the scoring for Denison at the 5:29 mark in the first quarter when he scored in a man-up situation.
