Hamilton vs. Utica College

The Game Story:
CLINTON, N.Y. - Jack Newton '06 scored with 1:43 left in the first overtime
to give Hamilton College an 11-10 non-league win against Utica College at
Campus Road Athletic Field on March 22.

Newton finished with four goals, three of which came in the fourth quarter
or overtime. Kevin St. John '06 added two goals and two assists for the
Continentals (4-0 overall).

Steve Schoen '07 paced Utica (3-1) with three goals and two assists.
Schoen's goal with five seconds left in the fourth quarter forced overtime.
Dave Misiaszek '08 chipped in three goals.

Utica led 9-7 after three quarters, but Newton tied the score with two goals
in the first 5:21 of the fourth quarter. Eric Luoma '06 put Hamilton on top
10-9 with 5:44 left. That set the stage for Schoen's game-tying goal, which
briefly gave the Pioneers some momentum.

Hamilton plays SUNY Oneonta in Oneonta, N.Y., on Wednesday, March 29 at 4.
Utica is at SUNY Oswego on Saturday, March 25, at 3 p.m.
