| WARRIORS DEFEAT CRUSADERS IN MEN?S LACROSSE WILLIAMSPORT, PA - The Lycoming College men's lacrosse team hosted Susquehanna University, Wednesday afternoon. The Warriors scored five unanswered goals to end the first half with a 7-3 lead en route to a 12-8 victory over the Crusaders. Lycoming improves to 6-4 overall and 4-1 within the Middle Atlantic Conference. Susquehanna drops to 3-5 and 1-4. The Crusaders scored the game's first goal and had leads of 2-1 and 3-2 before the Warriors' five-goal run that put them ahead for good. Lycoming stretched their lead to 12-6 before Susquehanna scored the final two goals to close within four. Sang Duong (So./Havertown, PA; Haverford) led the Warriors with four goals and two assists in the game. Buddy Temple (Sr./Webster, NY; Webster) and Dan Wilcox (So./Corning, NY; Corning-Painted Post East) each added a pair of goals as well. Sean Powers (So./Drexel Hill, PA; Monsignor), Christian Willaum (So./New Milford, CT; Mew Milford), and Erik Shepski (Fr./West Chester, PA; Unionville) split time in goal for Lycoming, combining for 15 saves. Susquehanna was led by Andy Nadler (Jr./Westport, CT; Staples) with three goals and Scott Hodgson (So./Wyckoff, NJ; Ramapo) with two goals. The Warriors are on the road for their next contest, traveling to King?s College on Saturday, April 13. |
