The Game Story:
The St. John Fisher College men's lacrosse team picked up a 15-4 win over visiting Alfred University on Saturday. With the win, Fisher improves to 10-4 overall and 3-2 in the Empire 8 Conference. This marks the seventh straight season Fisher has reached double digits in the win column.

With Fisher leading 2-1 after the opening period, the Cardinals scored five straight goals to take control in the second quarter.

The Cardinals led 9-2 at the break as goalie Jamie Campagna made 10 of his season-high 15 saves in the first half.
Alfred made it 11-4 in the opening seconds of the fourth quarter, but Fisher sealed the win, scoring four unanswered to end the game.

Ryan Freije was 17-of-20 on faceoffs and finished with a team-high 17 ground balls and one goal. Greg Ramsden finished with four points on three goals and one assist. Jeff Wester also scored three goals as well, while Brett Farrell finished with three assists.

Seniors Brian Cole and Michael Boisvert each scored twice, while Bryan Dyer finished with two points on one goal and one assist.

Kevin O'Donnell, Nick Rossi and Michael Russell also scored in the win. Scott Campbell finished with one assist and five ground balls.

Mike Blood and David Haseley both caused two turnovers.

Fisher will return to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and will host Nazareth College. The Golden Flyers are undefeated in Empire 8 play.
