Albright vs. Rosemont

The Game Story:
The Albright College men's lacrosse team went to double-digit wins on the season with its largin margin of victory so far- 26-1 over Rosemont on Saturday in Shirk Stadium.

T.J. Holston had a hat trick and two assists, while Philip Potter and Bryan Smith added three goals each as well. Nicholas Pisko had two goals and two assists, with Bryan Smith dishing out a trio of helpers.

Darian Meador scored right off the draw twice, both times six seconds after the previous goal. After Potter assisted Pisko at 11:17, Meador picked up the ground ball on the ensuing faceoff and ripped a long-range shot for a 4-0 lead. He would do it again at 09:17, right after Holston's unassisted tally.

Potter had opened the scoring at 14:04. After Foote tried a behind-the-back shot that missed, he recorded Albright's second of the day on a nice pass from Cody Sandy.

Defenseman Mike Donohoe got into the action, scoring to give the Lions a 6-0 lead after 5:08 of action. Holston made it 10 at 06:36, and Mike Southwick then gave the Lions a 10-goal lead, 11-1.

With under four minutes to go in the quarter, Connor Grant forced in a shot past the goalie from a tough angle to make it 12-1. Joshua Taylor ended a 13-1 first period with a goal, off Turner's assist.

Midway through the first quarter, Rosemont's Justin Regan picked off Andrew Torak's pass but missed the open net. He would score 30 seconds later however to get his team's only goal of the game.

The Lions didn't take long to keep things going in the second quarter, as Potter scored 38 seconds in. The hosts were up by 20 goals at halftime, 21-1.

Meador won 15-of-19 faceoffs and had eight ground balls. Donohoe forced a game-high five turnovers.
