Brine Clutch Elite Lacrosse Heads
In Stock
  • Designed for Elite Players

Cored inner sidewall to reduce weight without sacrificing strength.
Maximum offset for great accuracy and control.
When we first received the Clutch Elite from Brine, our Pro's immediately noticed several key features that set this head apart from others. First the new Core Tech makes this head extremely light, allowing offensive players to rip fast and accurate shots. We also loved the strength to weight ratio here. The unique placement of the stringing holes allowed us to put the pocket where we wanted it, something all players can really appreciate. Overall this is a premium head, one that is great for all high school levels and is sure to be one of our best sellers.

Cracks - 4/01/15 reply

It might crack a little at the throat
AWESOME - 4/01/15 reply

This head is great. Just got it strung and was scoring mad buckets all practice long. Highly recommend this head but don't use for face offs because it will warp really easy
LOVE IT - 3/03/15 reply

got this about 2 weeks ago and was sniping all practice long. i use sk 2x mesh with 2 straights and a 4 diamond u. highly recommend it
compared to ebay - 12/20/14 reply

This, clutch 3, or nike ceo
elite - 8/02/14 reply

I'm starting to like this head more than my Lakota , mainly because I faceoff. Elite has some good flex but it warps.
Head - 7/19/14 reply

Im a junior in high school and play attack, should I get this or the clutch 3? I like to play with a lower pocket
(no subject) - 8/07/14 reply

clutch 3 because it is a little stiffer and is pinched more all the way up the throat with a solid flare
head - 6/24/14 reply

best head ever, you would need to pinch it for faceoffs tho vary light
Fitting on shaft - 5/28/14 reply

Would this fit on a Maverik A1?
The Best - 4/30/14 reply

I bought this head only because my OG Clutch snapped after 2 years of use. I am a middie, and when my head broke, I was going to just get another Clutch because I loved it. Then my friend told me about the new Clutch, and I did a little research about it, and decided to buy this instead. I expected nothing less than perfection from Brine, and that is what I got. The head is stiff, but not super stiff; you can take face-offs if you want with it, but once it warps, there is no going back. I had my friend string it with a low-mid pocket and 2 straights, and it throws like a dream. I have always thought the clutch line goes well with low-pockets, but that is just my opinion. It really is the best of both worlds between the Clutch and the superlight, and overall, is the best head I have ever used.
mesh pro strung - 3/24/14 reply

(no subject) - 4/04/14 reply

it's semi-hard
Mesh? - 3/24/14 reply

what type of mesh is it?
(no subject) - 6/27/14 reply

Semi hard
great head - 3/23/14 reply

i play attack and i have to say this is the best head i have ever used
(no subject) - 3/19/14 reply

Good for middie faceofds?
(no subject) - 3/04/14 reply

For all you wondering whether to get this, the clutch, or the super light, get the elite. The clutch is too heavy so they add the super light which broke too easily. That's why they made the elite because it's the best of both worlds.
Clutch Superlight or this? - 2/12/14 reply

I know it's kinda annoying when a bunch of people just ask this or surgeon, this or nike Lakota etc. But I heard that this head is identical to the Clutch superlight. Is this true? And is this head a little wider, more pinched, or same? I would hugely appreciate it if someone took like a minute to respond to this question. Thanks.
(no subject) - 3/04/14 reply

When the clutch was made, there were complaints that it was too heavy. So then Brine made the super light, which brought complaints of being too weak and breaking easily. Brine then worked and created the clutch elite, which has the strength of the clutch with the lightness of the super light. So it's the best of both worlds. If it were me, I would definitely go with the Clutch Elite
Review - 1/06/14 reply

To anyone who wants/needs a legitimate review of this head: It's light, and stiff for the first season or so. Depending on what position you play and the temperature you play in, it may lose it's stiffness like mine did, and eventually warp. This can be fixed with an easy bake or boil and hand tuning. Great for wing middies and attackmen. Would NOT recommend this head for faceoffs. The OG Clutch would be a better option. Overall a 9/10 for any offensive player.

what is the best head for a middie who faces off
face off head - 3/22/13 reply

the OG blade is the best but they are pretty rare. A blade pro would be good
(no subject) - 3/22/13 reply

you're a scrub dude, learn how to play lacrosse like us Idaho kids... I'm committed to ITT tech and might start as a junior when i get there, come at me #idaholax
(no subject) - 3/23/13 reply

Idaho lax sucks. Look at the power rankings of the top team in Idaho to a top team in Connecticut or Long Island
CT - 5/17/13 reply

Yeah and then go ahead and rank the one good CT team (Darien) against any MD or NJ team. He's obviously joking you idiot, ITT Tech doesn't have sports. Stupidity is alive and well!
Face off head - 4/01/13 reply

I'm sorry but when people say the og blade, I cringe. It's the best face off head ever but it's extremely hard to get. Some othe great choices are the STX Super Power, Warrior Noz X, the tribe 7 ghost 7, the warrior BLADE PRO, and there are a few other good ones.

Help - 1/05/13 reply

I'm looking to get a new head what should i get This, Suregon or Evo 2.0? Suggestions would be great! And i play attack
(no subject) - 1/05/13 reply

I have a suregon head and that is a very nice head. Even though I play defense I really enjoy the suregon . I am ordering the Clutch Elite for another shaft I have. So if I were you I would buy the Suregon or the Suregon 10.
(no subject) - 1/06/13 reply

Thanks but i was looking for something other than a suregon because i already have one
(no subject) - 1/22/13 reply

if you haven't made your decision yet. this is sick i play attack and middie but for attack this thing is light, strong, and overall a great head. I had a pick of any head because i had been saving for a bit and would go back and buy this again. Hope this helped
(no subject) - 5/29/13 reply

I used the Evo 2.0 last season and I liked it a lot. Its weird I have a sci-ti and I had it on that and it seemed heavy but I got a clutch 2x this season and it seemed lighter even though the weight difference is little to none. All are very good and I want to get the clutch elite.
Defense - 12/16/12 reply

Would the stiffness make this a good d head?
Depends - 12/17/12 reply

Most defenders go after a wider head, but I guess you could use it as an LSM. I would recommend it for attack/middies. Go look at the STX Hammer, that is my recommendation for d heads.
maybe - 12/22/12 reply

this is true its a great mid defensive head but for lsm maybe go for the x version a little wider still stiff but lsm that would be my pick
(no subject) - 1/03/13 reply

the clutch elite x would be better, its a little wider
sweet - 12/14/12 reply

i got one it is sick and a great, stiff face off head great for middies but good for attack men too
(no subject) - 12/11/12 reply
