for the first year you have it, it generally doesn't warp but over time it can warp with a lot of use, more than other heads like super power or an evo. |

 | | - FaceoffMiddie4 6/15/12 reply
yes but its always better to just string it yourself so that it suits your preferences |

 | - OHLaxerBro 3/24/12 reply

The only down side is the shot speed and it isnt even that bad |
 | | - OHLaxerBro 3/25/12 reply
this head is not going to slow shot speed idk how a head that is a good weight strung well could possibly slow down a shot at all u tell me!
 | - NeedleMeyer 2/19/12 reply
Will this head get "cursed" easily? I heard the bottom stringing holes break easily. |

they do go to custom stringings and add traditional to cart with this in cart....it is just expensive |

i hav a revolver and the nxt head i get will be this or a proton power? |
 | | - FlowChild97 12/21/11 reply
it depends what kinda player you are if you faceoff get proton cuz its more flexy. if you like to string your own head get the cutch b/c the proton has like no strinign holes and is VERY hard to string |

 | - jdlaxpro55 8/25/11 reply
faster and more accurate shots and lighter. I have both. |
 | - jdlaxpro55 8/25/11 reply
I have both, they are both good, but I prefer the proton power. It is lighter and because it has a more gradual pinch it allows for faster shots and better accuracy. |
 | - Laxbro4us 8/15/11 reply
this head it unreal. it is easily a 10/10. it is very stiff and durable. it has so many sidewall holes for multiple stringing options. and on top of that it is a very pinched head. i am a middie and have used this for about a year now. i have 5, thats how much i love this head.
it is decent for faceoffs. if you want a good face off head check out the clutch x or the cobra x. BUT OVERALL THIS HEAD IS DOPE! |
 | - maxxpowa 8/10/11 reply
get the proton power. im a middie and i used that head this year and loved it. |
 | - Noflowbutstillabro17 8/06/11 reply
im a midfielder and i need a new head...i really only go for pinched heads, and im leaning towards a clutch x superlight...if anybody has any recommendations prefferably heads part of the clutch series (but just any good head would work) let me know!!! |
 | | - jhnnychoi 8/07/11 reply
i would either go with the regular clutch or a proton power. i use proton for facing off and clutch for wings. They are both GREAT heads. i love them. |
 | | - Lbhdbkuesch9643Smaldmek4829 9/08/11 reply
I recommend the clutch or clutch x super light or clutch x clutch is strongest of clutch series clutch x is great for face-offs but gets warped overtime I dont know about clutch x sl although i have a clutch and love it!!!!!! |

 | - Cvenable 8/02/11 reply
im debating between two heads and i need help. should i get this or the krypto pro diamond. Also, whats the difference between a head and a shaft? |
 | | - Fishpig 8/02/11 reply
if you dont know the difference between a head and a shaft, you should get a less advanced head. this is for intermediate to advanced players with at least 1-2 years experience. also, ever heard of a search bar? |
 | | - Noflowbutstillabro17 8/06/11 reply
if u seriously don't know the difference between a head and a shaft then your obviously new to the game...so u shouldnt be looking to get a clutch or a diamond...these are for advanced players...i think ur lookin for a $30 whole stick |
 | - russell1209 7/21/11 reply
i have two of them and i only have two sticks so this is a perfect head and they all crack twice at the bottom but its still perfect even with the cracks |

I have a swizzle scandium that i am gonna put this head on when i get it. Would it be a good stick? |

 | | - jimmyg56 7/06/11 reply
normal clutch is better i have the clutch and my friend has a superlight there is .2 of an ounce difference thats nothing we weighed them |
 | - bigbigpuff 7/02/11 reply
where should i put the pocket on this if i play attack so i can get still get good shots but still be able to one hand cradel |
 | | - ETOWNLAX#97 7/07/11 reply
For one handed cradling its best to have a low pocket, however, having a high pocket makes for a better release and thats what i prefer. I play attack but i cradle more horizontaly with two hands so the high pocket works. |

 | | - russell1209 7/02/11 reply
i use ths head and only ths head its perfect it cracks twice at the bottom but its very usable with the cracks |
 | - lax1124 6/21/11 reply
Do you think I should just get the regular clutch. or one of the other ones like the clutch 2. |
 | | - bdog927 6/22/11 reply
Personally, I would get this because its the most pinched and cheapest in the brine clutch series. Thats just me cuz i really really like alot of pinch. It also depends on your position if your attack I would definitely get the brine clutch and if your middie also the clutch or the clutch 2x and if you play defense i would go for the clutch 2 hoped this helped. |

i've been using this head for two years and it's great. a lot of stringing options. there are sooo many sidewall holes. very durable and AMAZING hold. i hear somebody say "that stick is illegal check it" every game and my stick isnt illegal. my black one from last year pinched drastically but that's because i used it in multiple climates for a full season and i took faceoffs. it was black and i think that's why it pinched. the ONLY problem is the bottom wall holes always break. i've heard of this and it's happened to mine in many cases. |

I am a middie going into high school in the fall and I am getting a new head. I have 4-5 heads in mind and anyone who wants to comment on what head they like (on the list) AND WHY they like it please respond. The heads are
1.) STX Proton Power
2.) Warrior Evolution 3
3.) Brine Clutch or Clutch Superlight
4.) Maverik Juice
I sometimes face-off but that isn't a deal breaker for me. Please help. |

 | | - Burghlax 5/16/11 reply
Yes it is the best head there is... you can argue that the proton power is the best but the clutch is way more durable and acurate. |
 | - LEGITLAXBRO 5/15/11 reply
I am a very aggressive goal scoring middi and I take faceoffs. I had a great time using this head and I strung it with a high pocket with 15m Marc Mesh. Its a great head, get it. |
