 | - ArnStar 11/27/12 reply
Think of this as the Pro7 v2. Like the original, but with some improvements added. The star wheel from the pro7 isn't there, but I never really saw a need for it in my old pro7. You will never grow out of these helmets, unless you have a watermelon for a brain case. A helmet should fit snugly anyway, and should be a little difficult to get off, just like if you were blindsided on a play. If a helmet is loose on your noggin', tighten it up like it should be. In the likely event YOU get chin checked by an opposing helmet, get a different chin strap, preferably one with a gel absorbing insert. |

chin means the chin piece, not the strap. and the stock default chin strap is almost always black |

this helmet is awesome for a couple reasons: it looks sick, has 7 tech, and has the SPR fit system in the back. all around great helmet. costs less than the pro7 too. |

how big is the "one size fits most" cause i have a pretty big head but i really like this helmet and want it |
|
 | | - dburt30 5/20/12 reply
it has an adjustable thing on the back it will fit you |
|
 | - Laxsl19 4/15/12 reply
I would recommend this helmet to any lacrosse player. With the adjustable Spr fit in the back it fits snug and tight to your head. It will fit anybody if you adjst it to your size. Also the fin in the back adds tilt and blance at the same time. Also flow!!! The seven technology absorbs the hit so you dont feel the hit. Also in a wide variety of masks to choose from. Black, chrome, titanium and gold titanium. And lots of colors. Get this helmet. You won't regret it. |

I must say I love the pro7.. but the CPXR fits really well, I like the fit a lot, feels more secure than the pro7 does. both good helmets, at the end of the day I do like the look of the pro7 better, but I'd settle for a CPXR too |

This helmet is great for people with big heads, it doesn't pinch the side of your head and just kinda sits on top of your head super comfy too. Only thing I don't like are these little paddings that push on your like sideburn area, but I guess they're there to ensure a good fit. |

This helmet is so awesome for people with small heads it has a highly adjustable back allowing you to tighten it to your head with ease however the back of the helmet worries me a little because it doesnt come down very far but nothing can be perfect. For people with bigger heads go with the pro 7 its a great helmet all the hype is on the cpx R right now because its new don't let the new stuff change your mind. |

now before you post questions like this, read down the page... i answered this. but just for your lazy butt, ill copy and paste my comment.
don't be fooled by the idiots on here saying its the same as the cpx.. the cpx padding is basically styrofoam. this padding is the SAME as the pro 7. its basically the same thing as the pro 7, but has better adjustibilty, and for kids like me who have a smaller head. basically heres the way you should determine between the cpxr and the pro7. if your head fits in the pro 7 comfortably, get the pro 7. if the pro 7 is too big, even with the larger pad inserts and the helmet adjusted to the smallest setting, get the cpxr. |

I use this at JHU and i love it. After taking many shots to the head it still stayed almost exactly in place. Easier to adjust than the pro seven but overall feel the same. The best part of this helmet is the mad tilt you can get and still have it fit right. |
|
 | - MarylandLax13 2/27/11 reply
just another gimmick same thing as cpx wwith a weird thing coming out of your head making u look like a conehead
cpx or pro 7 |
|
 | | - nbierley94 3/08/11 reply
your stupidness is literally appalling... you do realize this has the EXACT same technology as the pro-7. they made this as a hybrid between the cpx and the pro-7, and that little "weird thing" is where the two helmets came together. the padding on the cpx is basically just foam, this is not. this has the seven technology, same as the pro-7 = not a "gimmick" or the same as the cpx. so before you give a stupid review that is uninformed and senseless, think, so we all don't have to waste our time reading your review.... |
