its almost impossible to get hit with a shot on the outside of your elbow, which is the only area any arm guards protect. to wear arm guards in goal would be like wearing shin guards playing attack.

I play d-pole and switched from a set of elbow sleeves to these as the elbow cap is a bit beefier. These are super comfortable and have good protection for as minimal as they are.

goalies dont need arm guards, its impossible to get hit with the ball on the outside of your arm, which is where the arm guards protect. arm guards are pointless for goalies, and only restrict movement
