LAX.COM PRO-INSIGHT
A shaft suitable and intended for the player with the workhorse mentality, who wants the very best. Lightweight and durable from the Sci-Ti composite, the Stallion keeps its identity from its predecessor, the Sci-Ti Pro and improves it. STX designed this shaft with a think inner wall to withstand the rugged play that is asked from most midfielders. This shaft is can't miss for an elite midfielder and does not disappoint. The Stallion gets our highest ranking for a premium level shaft that aggressive middies demand.

King Magnum - 10/18/13 reply

This or the Brine King Magnum?

You will just have to experiment with the setup. I personally suggest East Coast Dyes mesh because of how broken in it feels as soon as you string it and also its waxed so it can get wet. If you end up not getting this shaft and you want a quick release, I would suggest a haywire shaft in either mid or high flex. If you don't know what flex is, just google it. Hope this helped...
reccomendation - 8/09/13 reply

Does anyone have a good setup for a stallion(head) that is low whip, but still has a quick release. I have a pita in it right now but its starting to fall apart. If I change to mesh what should I use? Hopefully I'll be getting this shaft for X-mas bc right now my stallion is on an stx amp that is dented everywhere.

If you play midfield a high pocket with a nylon, straight directly under the nylon, then two U's. Look up the way Sam Bradman strings it. If you play attack then some lower pocket

should i get this, the krypto pro diamond, or stallion for D?
Stallion - 6/16/13 reply

if you want a shaft that will last you a long time, this is a great shaft, it's one of the strongest and lightest shafts on the market and i love it
grip - 6/03/13 reply

Is the grip a slippery feel or like a sandpaper feel
grip - 6/16/13 reply

just got one, it has more of a sandpaper grip, but definitely isn't super grippy and needs some grip tape
Stallion>>>> - 5/08/13 reply

Honestly the best shaft I've ever used in my life. Perfect grip to where if you clamp down it stays, but if you hold on lightly it slides perfect.
Clutch Elite - 5/05/13 reply

Will this fit a clutch elite well?
stallion vs. surgeon - 5/05/13 reply

why is the stallion shaft cheaper than the surgeon shaft?
(no subject) - 7/09/13 reply

because the surgeon has a thinner wall and uses less material
Grip - 4/06/13 reply

The grip feels like sand paper. If you don't want the sand paper feel and you want something just as good go with the surgeon. It's light, strong, and has a good feel.
grip - 3/21/13 reply

what is the grip like
(no subject) - 2/26/13 reply

this is a very good shaft. incredibly light and so far durable. the paint is chipping slightly but there are no dents, i've taken some pretty good checks too. i have a stallion on it, great combo. i have only held one stick lighter. defenatley worth it, by far my favorite shaft.
