VESTAL, N.Y. It was a career day for Max Siskind, who started his first game for the No. 16 Towson men's lacrosse this season. The redshirt senior buried four goals while linemate Ryan Drenner finished with a hat trick, lifting the Tigers to a 9-8 win over host Binghamton at Bearcats Sports Complex. The non-conference win was Towson's sixth of the year, the second time in the last four years the Tigers have won six regular season non-conference games and improving head coach Shawn Nadelen to 21-15 in non-lleague games. Siskind scored back-to-back goals midway through the fourth quarter to break the game open, which ended 6-6 at the end of the third. Joe Seider tacked on a marker with 2:54 for security before Binghamton made it a one-goal game with 29 seconds left, 9-8. Binghamton won the ensuing faceoff, but a Bearcat turned the ball over to Drenner, who applied pressure in the ride to secure the Towson (6-3) win on the road. In addition to Siskind's four goal, Towson got another four points from Drenner's three goals and one assist. Seid er and Spencer Parks, who moved to the midfield, tallied one goal apiece. Tyler Konen and Ben McCarty each logged two assists while Parks and Seider had one helper apiece.
