PHILADELPHIA The University of Pennsylvania mens lacrosse team fell to No. 11 Yale, 15-7, on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Field. Penn (3-6, 0-3 Ivy League) was down just 4-2 midway through the second quarter, but the Bulldogs (6-2, 1-2) scored nine unanswered goals bridging the second and the third quarters to put this game on ice. Conrad Oberbeck scored five goals and added an assist to lead the Yale attack. Jeff Cimbalista had three goals, while Ben Reeves notched three points (2g, 1a). For Penn, freshmen Kevin McGeary and long-stick middie Connor Keating scored twice each, while Nick Doktor added a goal and an assist. For the first time this season, Penn did not have a player score three goals. Penn won 16 of the 26 face-offs in the game, but was outshot by Yale 36-29. Jimmy Sestilio started the game and had three saves in his half of action; John Lopes came on after the break and made eight stops. Senior defenseman Matt McMahon, who entered the weekend among the national leaders in caused turnovers, had three CTs in the contest.
