is the typical indoor practice field that is used for D1 lacrosse. The Irish use it for football practice in inclement weather. It was used last week beacuse the groundsmen wanted to let some of the new sod take. The ground was also very soggy for the field still had snow on it on Friday. ND keeps the laxers (men and women) off of Krause field and indoors, until the ground dries so that the field will last the season. Last year, the women played their first four homes games indoors.
As for the fans, they sit opposite the teams and the bleachers are about 10 yeards off the field.
