Mmmmmmm.........

The score of the game doesn't surprise me the slightest. UMass has struggled defensivley all year especially at the top of the box with the midfield. They also struggled at the faceoff x. I mean against a team like the Hop you have got to keep possesion as much as possible. One thing that really surprised me was the inability of UMass to clear the ball.Johns Hopkins does have a good press and rides real hard at half field but poor passes are unexcusable. Umass needed a set clear and if they had one I didn't see it. They had no answer for Harrison either they couldn't beat him at the x and why they had a short stick on him is beyond me.I hate to say I told you so but I have saying all year that UMass's success is contributed to an incredibly weak schedule. The best team they played was Georgetown who they beat but the have never seen a team as good as the Hop,Duke,UMD,Navy or UVA all of which in my opinion would have gave UMass the same treatment. No questions ask if Umass wants to be a top 10 team they have to play top 10 teams.
