Good game on both ends

While Syracuse can be slightly concerned they didn't put up good numbers, if you take into consideration how well Gtowns goalie played and that the Cuse defense looked good for the most part then this wasn't too bad.
That being said, and especially if Princeton is for real this year then Syracuse may have the toughest schedule in the country so they better be able to win these close games becuase I dont think there are going to be any blow outs this year, everybody is just too good.
A couple other thoughts on this game: I didn't really know much about Gtown before this one but Miles Kass made some nasty saves, especially on Bucktooth in that last minute opposite stick side high. Seems like a really solid team all around.

Also over the past 6-8 years I always thought Jed Raymond (middlebury '01 i think, maybe '02) was the nastiest takeaway guy while on the run with his man. However after today I gotta say Panarelli is a freakin ninja with that thing. The check he landed just over midfield with around 4 minutes to play in the game was just sick. People used to say how it was cool for the little kids watching the game to see Powell do something different and then go try it themselves, well the little laxers that make these games and play close D could probably have a lot of fun trying some of that stuff out though I'm sure it will piss their coaches off.

Also Cuse could really use Brooks back right about now, they need that speed at midi. The way Kass played I dont know how much Rommel would have helped since he was eating up everything but Brooks and his speed up top could have created some nice opportunities.
