I suspect our Irish friend has just discovered college lacrosse. As you point out, and I agree, SU had some awesome teams over the past 14 years.

Perhaps the most impressive post-season I ever saw was SU '90. In that NCAA tourney they shredded Brown 20-12 in the quarters, Carolina 21-10 in the semis, and Loyola 21-9 in the final. It was the 3rd consecutive title for the Orange (although later vacated), led by Gary Gait's sick 15 tourney goals.
