Big Budget, demise of the IVY and others
by Laxnut1 on May 22, 2001 @06:47:03 AM

In another 10 years I doubt that the Ivy League teams, some other smaller schools, and yes maybe Hopkins might just start to dissapear from the lacrosse map. When the Ohio States, Michigans, Michigan States, and all the other big schools start to put money into the lacrosse programs it will certainly send the current powers packing. Let's face it, this is what happened to college football in the 30's. It was all the academies and the Ivy that dominated. As soon as the big money and full schlorships started coming the small schools slowly faded. You can say this won't happen but you will be kidding yourself.
