HS Game of the week: New Canaan (CT) vs. St. Anthony's (NY)



St. Anthony's High School on Long Island hosted the Lead the Way Fund's "Lacrosse Day of Heroes 2010" Saturday, a three game event to raise money for disabled Army Ranger veterans and their families.

In the first game of the afternoon, the Friars successfully defended their home turf against the Rams of New Canaan, 13-8.

gonna put the story up of Stevenson Rockin #1 and beating Salisbury 10-6 Last weekend?! Winning their first conf title... and SU's first loss in the conference finals since 02!!!!!

i did find that an odd stat myself... but they did lose to Washington in the CAC tourny in the final round. in anycase whatever the record is... and if it is 95... more the reason to have it front page.

num 7 on St. Anthony's is pretty good a face-offs but i think thats all he is good at, was it me or at the beginning of the video he got the ball, took it all the way down and did the most ugly shot i have ever seen.
