LAX.COM caught up with Kyle Harrison in Westfield, N.J., partaking in some instruction and some goofing around. In this video, Harrison discusses shooting strategy, sharing insight he gained from fellow Team STX member, Joe Walters.
your sad for saying that. he not going out there to pick up some practice stats. hes teaching ppl to work on their placement. im not sure how that can be sad. sorry he didnt drop those all important practice g's that you get hahahahaha
He's explaining shooting and the technique so he's slowing everything down, like any good coach or consoler does, so a player can learn. Also at one point he says ”every now and then you have to prove a point“. Then sticks it!
The key to this video is – keep your motions, but change the location. Glad you guys got the point.
he was at Duke with me for summer camp, he was F-in legit...TEAM UVA!!! our team sucked tho. him and his brother were by far the best at the camp...he set me up SOOOOOOO bad on a clearing pass
i was at duke too team maryland FTW...idk how we won the whole tournament but i actually scored on this goalie hahah i pride myself on how ugly my goals actually are and i guess porchetta couldnt handle the ugliness! i played attack at the camp and yea his brother is f'ing disgusting at attack too i remember playing with him
He's certainly a better player than I am, but he's not as good as everybody thinks he is, case in point his performance against Toronto (0 goals, easy saves by the goalies, being short sticked), his performance on the whole in the MLL has been lack luckster he disappeared the years he was in NJ because he isn't a very good shooter
This guy is one of the top players in the world, slowing things down to teach you. How many national championships have you won? When were you a 3-time, D1 college All-American? What MLL team do you play for? What year did you win the Tewaaraton?
the entire point of the video was to teach people how to score more by changing shot location. kyle was changing shot location but wasnt scoring, so people watching would say "well he doesnt know what he's talking about because hes not scoring obviously." so he said he wasnt shooting too hard at the end because a.) he wasnt, and b.) so that people would know that what he's saying really works when you shoot 100%. not to just make him look tough
You guys shoud give it a break, Kyle is one of the best players to ever play the game and if it was a game thing might have been different. As far as the keeper he also looks like a great player, does he play for Westfield ? and where is he going to college ?
